Aziza Abdulfetah Busser

Aziza Abdulfetah Busser is a practicing architect, landscape designer and educator. She received a bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urban Planning and a masters degree in Environmental Planning and Landscape Design from Addis Ababa University. She is the Chair holder of the Chair of Landscape Architecture which she established at the Addis Ababa University – Ethiopian Institute of Architecture, Building Construction and City Development [EiABC] in 2014. She headed the development of the curriculum for the Masters in Landscape Architecture [MLA] program launched in October 2015. She is participating in the research: Green Infrastructure and Urban Biodiversity in Sub-Saharan African Cities conducted between the EiABC; Leibniz University Hanover, Germany; NUST, Namibia; KNUST, Ghana. She is, currently, collaborating with the Association of Ethiopian Architects [AEA] to establish a Chapter of Landscape Architects. Her latest research interests include the education and practice of the landscape architect in Ethiopia.
