Claudia Lucia Rojas Researcher
Claudia Lucia Rojas received a master’s degree in Human Settlements from the University of Leuven in 2012, and bachelor’s degree of Architecture from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in 2004. Her research focuses on the intersection between sustainable water management and settlement development in Bogotá. Through research by design she is testing strategies to rearticulate the Bogota’s River floodplain with the urban periphery.
Before, she worked on a wide range of master planning and architectural projects in Bogotá mainly in the public sector. These included the Master Plan for Bogota’s sports and recreation facilities, the Master Plan for Universidad El Rosario, architectural design for public schools in Tumaco and Bogotá, and projects for a Sports Center, a Foodcourt and a park for the Universidad Nacional campus.
