Henri Bava, landscape architect, studied plant biology at the University of Paris-Orsay, scenography at ecole Jacques Lecoq in Paris and landscape architecture at the ENSP, Versailles. In 1985, he began to work at the Michel Corajoud office and in 1986 he founded in Paris Agence Ter together with Michel Hössler and Olivier Philippe. In parallel with his work in landscape architecture practice, he has been teaching 10 years long at ENSP Versailles and since 1998 he is the chairman of the Landscape architecture department at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), and since 2009 he was invited several times as guest professor at the GSD Harvard. In 2000, Agence Ter started a German office in Karlsruhe, in 2014 a Spanish one in Barcelona following the wining project of Plaza Glories Catalanes, and in 2016 the Californian office in Los Angeles following the wining project of the redesign of Pershing Square.
