Nicholas Pevzner Lecturer,

Nicholas Pevzner is a full-time lecturer in the Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania School of Design, and is Co-Editor-in-Chief of Scenario Journal, an open-source online publication devoted to showcasing and facilitating the emerging interdisciplinary conversations between design and ecology. Nicholas’ research focuses on the public and civic potential of infrastructure, on the spatial and system interactions of the renewable energy transition, and on the integration of urban ecological systems and their metrics into design methodology. He has taught graduate landscape studios on energy landscapes and on the territorializing effects of infrastructure, along with core landscape and urban design studios. He also co-teaches a workshop course in urban ecology at PennDesign. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the Cooper Union and a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania.
